Job summary

Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd in Greater London is seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support the Shift Supervisor and Chief Engineer in ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance of all Part-145 maintenance activities. The LAE will advise on engineering decisions and guide team development.

Responsibilities include maintaining aircraft and equipment, certifying B2 maintenance, and assisting with daily flightline operations.

Qualifications

Adherence to organisational values and safety culture.
SC security clearance at a minimum (UK/ITAR).
Desirable: experience in aircraft maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

Maintain aircraft and equipment as allocated to the LAE by the Shift Supervisor, including base checks and daily flightline tasks.
Provide certification for B2 maintenance activities performed during shifts.
Support aircraft away from home base as required, including defect rectification.
Ensure timely completion of aircraft maintenance documentation and clean, orderly work areas.
Drive continuous improvement in standards, practices and efficiency.
Deputise for the Shift Supervisor and assist with team development and task scheduling.
