Job summary

Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited is recruiting B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers for the London Gatwick Hangar. You will supervise mechanics, certify maintenance tasks, and support the Lead Engineer to keep schedules on track.

Required: UK CAA Part-66 B1/B2 licence, 1 year cert privileges, 737 NG type rating preferred, and willingness to work a rotational shift pattern at Gatwick. UK work authorisation essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK CAA Category B1 or B2 Part-66 Licence. Type rating on 737 NG preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of certification privileges in Line/Base Maintenance.
• 6 months recent maintenance on type within last 2 years.
• Knowledge of Part-145 regulations; experience with AMOS or similar MMS is advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint; able to learn in-house systems.
• Eligible to hold London Gatwick Airport airside pass; right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Mechanics performing Base Maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Inspect and certify scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications and functional tests on Airframe, Engine and Electrical systems.
• Complete work timely to optimise aircraft downtime and maintain documentation.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and promote a just culture.
• Support the Lead Engineer and manage zone operations at London Gatwick.
