Job summary

STS Aviation Services in Birmingham, United Kingdom, is seeking a skilled B2 Avionics Mechanic to perform avionics modifications and ongoing maintenance in line with approved data and engineering documentation.

You will take full ownership of quality, ensure safe practices, and communicate with the Lead Technician or B2 Engineer to support testing, troubleshooting and compliance. A strong focus on accuracy and safety is essential.

Qualifications

Completed an engineering apprenticeship—ideally in Aeronautical engineering or military equivalent.
Excellent hand skills and attention to detail are required.
Eligible to work and live in the UK; subject to UK security vetting and compliance.”

Responsibilities

Carry out avionics modifications and maintenance per approved data and engineering documentation.
Take ownership of quality and compliance of work.
Communicate with Lead Technician or B2 Engineer in timely manner.
Perform precise wiring terminations and testing.
Remove and install shelves, panels and equipment.
Interpret manuals, schematics and regulatory requirements.
Loom manufacture and testing; support avionics system testing, validation and troubleshooting.
Maintain tool control and uphold a clean, safe work environment.”
