STS Aviation Services in Birmingham, United Kingdom, seeks a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to lead avionics activities on a major production and modification program. You will supervise technicians, perform inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, reporting progress to the Line Manager and coordinating with the Lead Avionics SME.

The role offers both contract and permanent opportunities with rotating day/night shifts, and requires UK work eligibility and security vetting.

Qualifications

• Valid CAA or EASA Part-66 B2 licence is required.
• Experience supervising avionics technicians and coordinating inspections is essential.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and regulatory documentation.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support a team of avionics technicians.
• Conduct detailed inspections in line with Boeing specifications.
• Ensure avionics work meets quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate avionics maintenance and modification tasks.
• Support the production and modification program delivery.
• Provide regular progress updates to Line Manager.
• Mentor junior avionics personnel and promote safety and accountability.
