Job summary

Gloucestershire College on Llanthony Road in Gloucester invites applications for a Learning Resources Advisor to support learners with our resources, digital platforms and apps. You will deliver inductions, sessions on referencing, and provide friendly, responsive customer service in a welcoming library environment.

You will help maintain library resources, manage records, support the Virtual Library and social media, and participate in college events including open days and enrolment activities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people.
• Experience of providing customer service.
• Experience of using digital and online IT platforms.
• Level 3 qualifications (A Level or equivalent) in one or more Gloucestershire College curriculum areas.
• English level 2 or equivalent, and a demonstrable good level of written English.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll play a key part in creating a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring library where every learner feels supported to succeed. You'll help learners get the most from our resources, digital platforms and apps, deliver inductions and referencing sessions, and provide friendly, responsive customer service. You'll bring creativity and enthusiasm to displays, activities, events and competitions, while supporting online learning and work experience. You'll also help maintain our library resources, records, Virtual Library and social media, and contribute to wider college events, including open events and enrolment.
