Pioneer Search is urgently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support a leading Insurance business in Greater London. This role involves maintaining critical systems and providing 2nd/3rd line support across networking, Wintel infrastructure, and Azure cloud services. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in networking and Azure, contributing to ongoing improvements while working in a hybrid environment.

The position provides exposure to both traditional and modern infrastructure, with opportunities for involvement in automation and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in networking technologies such as Cisco and Meraki.
• Experience in 2nd or 3rd line infrastructure support.
• Exposure to on-premise and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain core network infrastructure including switching and firewalls.
• Manage incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
• Monitor system performance and ensure stability across infrastructure services.
