Job summary

Broster Buchanan is partnering with a global automotive brand to recruit an Infrastructure Operations Engineer. You will help design and grow their Azure-based infrastructure, with around 20% BAU and 80% new projects, and work in a hybrid pattern with 2 days on-site in central Birmingham.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure Networking, VMs, AD/Entra ID, RDS management and ITIL processes. You will collaborate with international colleagues across the UK and Europe to keep systems

Qualifications

Experience designing and maintaining Azure infrastructure (Networking, VMs, Monitoring).
Hands-on with Remote Desktop Services; Azure Virtual Desktop exposure desirable.
Strong networking knowledge with Meraki, VPNs, VLANs, NSGs and firewalls.
Solid Windows Server, AD/Entra ID, virtualization, DR planning.
ITIL framework experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain, manage and design Azure-based infrastructure.
Serve as SME for Remote Desktop Services.
Oversee networking across on-prem and cloud; Meraki, VPNs, VLANs, NSGs, firewalls.
Lead domain migrations; manage AD/Entra ID and O365 tenant.
Resolve escalated incidents; document troubleshooting; ensure SLA compliance.
Collaborate with international teams across the UK and Europe.
