Job summary

IMServ Europe Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a senior DevOps Engineer to own the Azure platform for our Astral products, building and running scalable, secure multi-tenant SaaS across the globe. You will share responsibility for environments, CI/CD pipelines, releases and security/cost posture with a peer.

Within an Agile SCRUM setting you will collaborate with Software Engineers, Testers and the Technical Architect. Your focus includes IaC, monitoring, DR, and cost management across estates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years running production Azure environments as primary discipline.
• Experience writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML).
• Scripting in PowerShell and Azure CLI; infrastructure as code experience.
• Secure-by-default design with Key Vault, RBAC and least privilege.
• Monitoring, backup and disaster recovery for a live service; incident response.
• Experience in Agile SCRUM teams and related ceremonies.
• SQL Server experience for environment data management.

Responsibilities

• Environment management for Astral environments across development, test, UAT/load and production.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, artifacts, configurations and gates.
• Plan and execute deployments with rehearsed rollbacks; support go-lives.
• Own secrets, certificates, IAM and patching; work with IT security on remediation.
• Observability, backups, DR testing; lead blameless post-incident reviews.
• Monitor and optimise Azure spend; right-size resources across clients.
• Maintain runbooks and configuration records; participate in Scrum ceremonies.
