Job summary

IMSERV Europe Ltd seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to own the Azure platform for the Astral SaaS products, spanning development, testing, and production. You will co-manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments and security posture in a small, collaborative team with Software Engineers, Testers and the Technical Architect.

You will join a Scrum team, work across environments, and drive reliable, scalable deployments while maintaining robust security and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Has 5+ years running production Azure environments as their primary discipline.
• Has written and maintained CI/CD, build and deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML).
• Infrastructure as code with Bicep, ARM or Terraform; scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Secure-by-default platform design with Key Vault, managed identities, RBAC and least privilege.
• Monitoring, backup and disaster recovery for a live service, including incident response.
• Experience in Agile SCRUM ceremonies and artefacts.
• SQL Server environment data management, including safe refreshes and test data handling.
• Experience consolidating single-tenant deployments into shared multi-tenant platforms.
• Familiar with enterprise client security requirements and security reviews.
• AI-assisted tooling usage in platform and pipeline work.
• Microsoft AZ-104 or AZ-400 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Environment management: maintain Astral environments across dev, test, UAT/load and prod.
• CI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps pipelines, artifact management and security gates.
• Release management: plan and execute deployments with rollback plans.
• Security and access: manage secrets, certificates, RBAC and patching.
• Monitoring, reliability and recovery: observability, back-ups and DR testing.
• Cost management: monitor and optimize Azure spend.
• Documentation: keep runbooks and configuration records up to date.
• Community: participate in Scrum ceremonies and broader engineering community.
