Job summary

IMSERV is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own the Azure platform underpinning the Astral products. You will co-own the environments, CI/CD pipelines, releases and security posture of the estate, working within Scrum teams alongside software engineers, testers and the Technical Architect.

The role spans development through production across multiple client environments. Responsibilities include infrastructure as code, secure-by-default design, monitoring and disaster recovery, cost management, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years running production Azure environments (App Services, Azure SQL, storage, networking).
• CI/CD/build/deploy pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML).
• Infrastructure as code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform) with scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Secure-by-default design: Key Vault, RBAC, least privilege.
• Monitoring/backup/DR for live service (Application Insights, Log Analytics).
• Experience in Agile SCRUM ceremonies and artefacts.
• Manage environment data, refreshes, and test data in SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Manage Astral environment estate across development, test, UAT/load and production.
• Build, maintain and improve Azure DevOps pipelines and artifact management.
• Plan and execute deployments with rehearsed rollback and release calendar.
• Own secrets, certificates, access control and patching across the estate.
• Monitor, back up and recover data; lead blameless root-cause analyses.
• Coordinate with Scrum team to unblock environment and pipeline needs.
• Support security reviews and alignment with audit requirements.
