Job summary

TechNET IT Recruitment Ltd is partnering with an established UK technology and managed services organisation to appoint a Technical Infrastructure Consultant in Welwyn Garden City. The role combines consultancy, solution design, implementation and hands-on infrastructure support.

The successful candidate will work with customers to design secure infrastructure solutions, translate requirements into technical designs and support their implementation, while improving the organisation's internal IT

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft infrastructure knowledge with networking experience.
• In-depth experience delivering secure infrastructure solutions for customers.
• Hands-on implementation and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing secure technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Working with senior customer stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements.
• Providing technical consultancy and recommendations throughout engagements.
• Supporting implementation and ongoing operation of customer infrastructure.
• Providing remote and on-site technical support as required.
• Creating detailed technical documentation (HLDs/LLDs/SOWs).
• Contributing to RFP/RFI/ITT responses and pre-sales activities.
• Maintaining and improving internal IT environment.
