Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Engineer to architect, implement and manage secure cloud infrastructure automation across multicloud environments, with primary focus on Azure and GCP and secondary AWS support. You will design end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, build reusable Terraform modules, and manage container platforms on AKS and GKE with Nexus to manage artifacts.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Platform Engineering/SRE or related roles.
• Expertise in Azure and GCP services architecture and operation.
• Working knowledge of AWS for secondary multicloud support and integration.
• Advanced experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Deep Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform including module design and lifecycle management.
• Strong containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/GKE).
• Hands-on experience with Nexus Repository Manager for artifact storage and pipeline integration.
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash and PowerShell.
• Strong cloud security knowledge including IAM, RBAC, secrets, encryption and network security controls.
• DevSecOps experience with vulnerability management and secure software supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Architect, operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platforms across Azure and GCP with AWS support as needed.
• Design and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins and cloud-native tools.
• Build reusable IaC modules and standards using Terraform with robust state management and governance.
• Deploy and manage container platforms across AKS and GKE, with practical EKS support.
• Own enterprise artifact lifecycle management using Nexus and associated repos and promotion controls.
• Implement DevSecOps controls including SAST/DAST, secrets management and policy-as-code.
• Define release strategies, environment promotion, rollbacks and audit-ready deployments.
• Establish observability standards across logs, metrics, traces and alerts.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis and reliability improvements to reduce outages.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps through governance, rightsizing, and utilization analysis.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to ensure secure platform patterns and governance.
• Mentor engineers and promote automation-first culture and platform standardization.
