Job summary

Loop Recruitment is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Manchester with 3+ years of experience to manage and optimise a mature Azure-first platform. The role focuses on CI/CD, IaC, containerisation, and secure, scalable deployments.

You'll work in a hybrid setup (3 days in office / 2 days WFH) within IT & Infrastructure, contributing to blue/green, canary and rolling release strategies while improving observability and incident response as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong CI/CD experience with hands-on Azure tooling.
• Solid grounding in Infrastructure as Code and containerisation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tooling.
• Automate build, test and deployment processes to improve velocity and reliability.
• Work with IaC using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates to manage cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and support applications on Azure App Services, Function Apps and other Azure services.
• Implement deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary and rolling releases.
• Monitor and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
• Apply security best practices across pipelines, source control and cloud infrastructure.
