Job summary

Experis is recruiting a Cloud Platform Engineer in Manchester to deliver secure, scalable Azure services within a hybrid setup. The role focuses on cloud transformation, platform engineering, automation and security initiatives, excluding a pure DevOps title.

You will build and optimise Azure IaaS & PaaS, implement IaC with Bicep/ARM, automate deployments and support security with Entra ID and PIM, while monitoring health and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Azure Cloud Engineering experience.
• 2+ years Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM or equivalent).
• Strong Azure Compute, Storage, Networking & Identity knowledge.
• Understanding of cloud security and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimise & support Azure IaaS & PaaS services.
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM & Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployments and operational processes.
• Support Zero Trust security using Entra ID, Conditional Access & PIM.

CLOUD PLATFORM ENGINEER

£54,000pa + 10% Bonus + Benefits | Manchester | Hybrid Working | 1 x Day Per Week Office Based

Join a growing, global technology team delivering secure, scalable and automated Azure services across a large enterprise environment.

You'll play a key role in cloud transformation, platform engineering, automation and security initiatives.

PLEASE NOTE! This not a "DevOps Role", however, Infrastructure as Code experience is a key requirement!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, optimise & support Azure IaaS & PaaS services
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM & Azure DevOps

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
