Job summary

British Business Bank is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to drive modern DevOps across the full lifecycle of infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure. You will manage hybrid operations, oversee SaaS/IaaS/PaaS services, and maintain IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and security practices.

The role requires Terraform expertise and a track record of delivering reliable, cost-aware cloud solutions. The position is hybrid with two days per week in the office, in London or Sheffield, and offers competitive

Qualifications

• Strong Azure engineering experience across infrastructure, platform services, identity and security.
• Extensive knowledge of Terraform, CI/CD, cloud governance, FinOps and the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience of cloud migration, modernisation and regulated environments would also be valuable.
• Relevant professional certifications or demonstrable equivalent experience will help you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on engineering role focused on modern DevOps practices across the full lifecycle of infrastructure management.
• Manage day to day operations of a hybrid technology estate, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
