Job summary

IntaPeople is seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of a modern Azure Data Warehouse for a greenfield programme. You will drive architecture decisions, validate designs and work closely with Data Engineers to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

The role is UK-based with remote-first working and ad hoc meetings in South Wales. Expect day rates between £575 and £625, with initial contract of 3 months and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Azure-based data platforms.
• Enterprise-scale data warehouse and analytics design background.
• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Power BI and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of a new Azure-based data warehouse platform.
• Review and enhance high-level solution designs with engineering teams.
• Define architecture standards and roadmaps for data platforms.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership during delivery.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to deploy production-ready solutions.
• Ensure security, governance, scalability and performance considerations.
