Methods Analytics is seeking a Data Architect to join on a permanent basis, with a role that is mainly remote and travel to client sites as needed. The candidate will design data architectures, expose data via APIs, and lead migration projects to modern cloud-native platforms across the UK.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data services and architectures.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Azure data stack and modern data services.
• Extensive data modelling and database design experience.
• Proven track record with large-scale data migrations.
• Experience with real-time streaming and AI/ML data workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data solutions and architecture blueprints.
• Lead complex migration projects from legacy to cloud-native platforms.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate technologies and establish architectural patterns for quality and security.
