Job summary

Devonshire Hayes is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to design, secure, and optimise Azure environments at scale. This hybrid role requires 3-4 days onsite weekly in Watford, with responsibilities spanning migrations, data analytics, and automation.

You will manage identity and access, implement API integrations, and drive security best practices while delivering cost-efficient governance across Azure estates in a modern cloud transformation journey.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure expertise including architecture, admin and governance.
• Experience with Fabric, Power BI, APIs and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, Defender, Purview.
• Experience with IaC and automation tools like Terraform and CLI.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, Microsoft Fabric).
• Lead on-prem to Azure migrations with minimal downtime.
• Own identity & access management (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, hybrid environments).
• Implement API integrations using Azure API Management (APIM).
• Deliver data & analytics solutions (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, AI services).
• Drive security best practice (Defender suite, Zero Trust, Purview).
• Build automation & IaC (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform).
• Set up monitoring & alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel).
• Manage cost, licensing & governance across Azure estates
