Job summary

Experis is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer in Manchester to build and operate an Azure-based platform, delivering secure, scalable services for a global organisation. You will automate deployments with Bicep/ARM and Azure DevOps while emphasising security and cost optimisation.

The role requires 2+ years of Azure Cloud Engineering and IaC experience, with hybrid working and a base salary around £54k plus a 10% bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Azure Cloud Engineering experience.
• 2+ years Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM or equivalent).
• Strong Azure Compute, Storage, Networking & Identity knowledge.
• Understanding of cloud security and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimise & support Azure IaaS & PaaS services.
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM & Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployments and operational processes.
• Support Zero Trust security using Entra ID, Conditional Access & PIM.
• Monitor platform health, availability and performance.
• Drive cloud cost optimisation and FinOps activities.
