Job summary

Procentia, part of the Brightwell Group, is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join the platform team focused on Azure cloud environments. You will design, build and support scalable Azure solutions while collaborating with development teams to reduce cognitive load and improve our product portfolio.

The role emphasises Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, security, cost optimisation and migration activities, using Terraform, ARM templates and other Azure tools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering Azure-based cloud architectures.
• Strong IaC and CI/CD experience with Terraform/ARM templates and DevOps tooling.
• Proficiency in security, networking, and cost optimisation for cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and data services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Azure-based solutions.
• Create robust, scalable architectures for cloud applications with performance, security and cost considerations.
• Support migration to Azure and modernisation of existing applications.
• Provision, configure and manage Azure resources; implement IaC using Terraform/ARM templates.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure applications and automate deployments.
• Integrate database storage solutions and monitor performance and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure services and security.
