Howden Insurance Local UK is seeking a Cloud Integration & Automation Engineer to design, build, and support cloud data integrations using Azure services. You will automate infrastructure with IaC, establish observability, and enable secure, private connectivity while driving efficiency with automation and AI-powered solutions.

You’ll collaborate with architects and analysts to scope and estimate integration work, promote secure practices, and document solutions for cross-team reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and supporting integrations on Azure (API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Factory, Functions).
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform).
• Experience automating deployments across dev/test/prod with CI/CD.
• Familiar with Azure observability tools (App Insights, Log Analytics, KQL).
• Knowledge of secure networking in Azure (Private Endpoints, Private DNS, VNets).
• Strong focus on automation and measurable business outcomes.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and support cloud integrations using Azure services to connect business systems and automate data flows.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with IaC.
• Implement and maintain observability dashboards and alerts (App Insights, Log Analytics).
• Enable private connectivity for data using Azure networking features.
• Drive business efficiency by automating processes and integrating new SaaS/data sources, leveraging AI where suitable.
• Contribute to solution design with architects and analysts to scope, estimate, and document integration solutions.
• Champion security, cost management, and documentation to keep solutions robust.
