Job summary

Howden Group is seeking a Technical Architect (Azure) to join the Cloud Engineering & Architecture team in a remote capacity. You will own the Azure platform architecture, build reusable components, and shape governance while partnering with delivery teams to drive secure, scalable solutions.

You will design and evolve enterprise-scale foundations, ensure best practices in identity, networking, security, and observability, and maintain ADRs and platform documentation to support rapid, compliant

Qualifications

Strong experience designing, building, and operating cloud platforms in Microsoft Azure.
Experience with enterprise-scale foundations and governance patterns.
Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code and self-service platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve core Azure cloud architecture and platform components.
Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, DevOps and Delivery teams to implement reusable patterns.
Ensure security, cost efficiency, and reliability while enabling fast delivery.
Create ADRs and maintain design documentation for platform standards.
