Job summary

Enfield Council is seeking an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Manager to lead the operational delivery of Microsoft cloud and infrastructure services, ensuring security, resilience and performance across the Council.

You will manage a team of engineers and specialists, drive service improvement, governance and delivery of major transformation programmes, and align work with council policies and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud and infrastructure operations in a public sector or large organisation.
• Strong IT service management skills and governance experience.
• Proven ability to develop and mentor technical teams.
• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 services.
• Drive service improvement, governance and security for council infrastructure.
• Manage suppliers, performance, risks and delivery of operational programmes.
• Collaborate with architecture, cyber security and delivery teams to achieve outcomes.
