Job summary

Transport for London (TfL) is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer in London. The role focuses on cloud platforms to deliver new projects, ensure secure links between data centres and supplier sites, and modernise infrastructure with the latest products.

The engineer will script, build, and automate infrastructure as code, collaborate with stakeholders, and follow security standards to keep TfL safe. Hybrid work with strong cloud focus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Azure network infrastructure (Azure firewall, NSGs, expressroute, etc.)
• Demonstrable ability to automate Azure infrastructure
• Demonstrable ARM scripting
• Azure Policy creation to ISO2701O security standard
• Write and peer review PowerShell scripting
• Identify and write auto-remediation scripts
• Demonstrate optimisation and cost saving techniques to company strategy
• Create and edit YAML pipelines
• Deploying code using Azure DevOps

Responsibilities
