Job summary

Thales UK is recruiting a DevOps Engineer to help build and support a digital platform within the UK Digital Competence Centre. You will work in an agile team to deliver secure, resilient cloud infrastructure and modern CI/CD Pipelines.

The role focuses on Azure-based deployments, automation and tooling, with opportunities to grow within the DCC or broader business as the digital agenda evolves.

Qualifications

• Active interest in the cloud operating environment and self-development in this discipline.
• Strong understanding of IaaS and PaaS in cloud platforms.
• Scripting is actively pursued and used in daily work.
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build industry leading cloud-based infrastructure on Azure.
• Create and manage secure, low maintenance environments in cloud using DevSecOps practices.
• Develop tools to enable efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Support release and production environments as required.
