Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant (DevOps) to design, implement and manage cloud solutions for customers across the UK. You will lead on-site engagements, drive best practices, and guide secure migration strategies while partnering with customers and AWS teams.

Travel to client sites (3–4 days per week) is required. UK Government clearance and nationality requirements apply. This is a customer-facing role within AWS ProServe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or experience in a professional field or military.
• Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
• Experience in software development with object oriented language.
• Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system.
• Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management.

Responsibilities

• Solutions — Define and deliver on-site engagements with customers and partners, addressing security and compliance needs.
• Expertise — Architect scalable, secure AWS-based solutions and guide migration strategies.
• Delivery — Lead on-site projects, demonstrate AWS service usage and security tooling.
• Insights — Convey customer feedback to AWS teams to influence roadmaps.
• Practice Development — Create reusable tools and artefacts to help future engagements.
