Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Delivery Consultant (DevOps) to design, implement, and manage AWS-based solutions that align with customer objectives and business goals. You will drive the cloud journey with best practices, ensuring scalable and secure deployments.

The role requires frequent travel to UK client locations and close collaboration with AWS teams and partners to deliver high-impact outcomes while promoting security and governance across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (or military/professional field).
• Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in software development with object oriented language.
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers, including security and compliance requirements.
• Lead cloud security and governance discussions, crafting security models in AWS (IAM, logging, data protection, incident response).
• Deliver projects on-site to demonstrate AWS services and security technologies, migrate applications where needed.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support and business teams to incorporate partner and customer feedback into roadmaps.
• Develop reusable tools, services and artefacts to share knowledge with customers, partners and AWS staff.
