Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant (DevOps) for the ProServe team. You will design, implement and manage AWS solutions for customers, driving success through cloud journeys and best practices.

You will travel to UK client locations 3–4 days per week, leading on-site engagements, migrations and security-focused deployments while advising customers on industry trends and AWS services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions in enterprise environments
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions
• Experience in software development with an object-oriented language
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks and OS
• Experience in external or internal customer-facing, large-scale projects

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with customers and partners
• Architect, design and implement AWS-based solutions to meet security and business requirements
• Lead migration strategies and ensure best practices and risk management
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support and business teams to relay customer feedback to roadmaps
• Develop tools and artefacts to accelerate future engagements
