Job summary

Arch Insurance (UK) Limited is seeking an AVP, Automation & AI Delivery to lead the development and governance of AI capabilities across Arch International. You will work with senior stakeholders to design, build and monitor AI tools, directing data scientists and engineers to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

You will oversee end‑to‑end AI delivery, evangelize automation, maintain a prioritized pipeline and report progress and impact to SA leadership and partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or similar quantitative field.
• Significant evidence of continuous development in automation or AI.
• Experience delivering automation or AI solutions in insurance.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and offshore resources.
• Ability to align technology with business goals and governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI tools with secure, scalable architecture.
• Establish and evangelize automation and AI adoption.
• Maintain a prioritized AI opportunities pipeline with value-based prioritization.
• Conduct structured discovery with stakeholders to define problem statements and success metrics.
• Own, track and report delivery scope, progress, risks and dependencies.
• Ensure requirements, documentation, testing, releases, monitoring and incident management standards.
• Implement feedback loops and report adoption and impact to leadership.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to scale AI tools enterprise-wide.
• Support training and act as an AI SME for business automation use cases.
• Ensure solutions comply with Arch policies, privacy, security and governance.
