Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking an AI Transformation Programme Lead to steer an enterprise-wide AI initiative across multiple domains. You will report to the Chief AI Officer and drive a coherent, executable roadmap delivering measurable value for customers and shareholders.

In this executive role, you will oversee governance, benefits realisation and cross-functional delivery across Claims, Outsourcing, IT, Customer and Operations, while shaping Aviva’s AI strategy and its real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex enterprise-wide transformation programmes.
• Strong track record converting strategy into integrated plans and delivering outcomes across multiple business areas.
• Deep expertise in governance, planning, delivery assurance and risk management.
• Experience defining, tracking and realising financial and non-financial benefits.
• Executive-level influencing skills with constructive challenge.
• Experience delivering enterprise AI transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Translating AI strategy into an integrated roadmap, delivery plan and outcomes.
• Leading delivery across multiple workstreams and intervening where progress is at risk.
• Establishing governance, decision rights, reporting and escalation routes.
• Managing cross-programme risks, issues, dependencies and resource constraints.
• Creating a robust benefits realisation approach with clear ownership.
• Aligning senior stakeholders across business, technology, Finance, People, Risk and Compliance.
