Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking an Avionics Instructor to shape the next generation of technicians and operators. You will develop clear, accurate training content and deliver engaging classroom and hands-on sessions across the UK and, occasionally, overseas.

You will serve as an Avionics SME, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer requirements and engineering data. The role requires a solid avionics background, strong communication skills, and experience in aviation or a related field.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of avionics systems and their operation.
• Experience in aviation, aerospace, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication skills with ability to simplify technical concepts.
• Instructor qualifications such as DTTT, AET/CET, or equivalent; training can be provided if not held.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical training content from engineering data and system documentation.
• Deliver engaging classroom and practical training in the UK and overseas when required.
• Act as an Avionics SME for allocated systems and ensure training aligns with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with SL&SS teams and training stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Support student assessment development and evaluation methods.
