Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is seeking an Avionics Instructor to shape the next generation of technicians and operators. You'll develop high‑quality training materials from engineering data and system information, deliver engaging classroom and hands‑on sessions in the UK, and act as the Avionics SME to ensure accuracy.

You'll collaborate with SL&SS teams, maintain training compliance with standards, and contribute to the assessment development process.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of avionic systems, including operation principles and integration.
• Experience in aviation, aerospace or related technical field.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Professional, positive attitude with willingness to learn and collaborate.
• Instructor qualifications such as DTTT/AET/CET or equivalent; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical training content from engineering data and system documentation.
• Deliver engaging classroom and practical training in the UK and overseas.
• Act as Avionics SME ensuring technical accuracy and training quality.
• Collaborate with SL&SS teams to integrate simulations and learning tools.
• Ensure training complies with safety, regulatory, and organisational standards.
• Enhance student assessments and tools for evaluating learning outcomes.
