Job Description:

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Tech Services Avionics Engineer.

Based in Madrid, the successful candidate will join a team of experienced engineers to ensure the continued airworthiness of our fleet of over 500 Boeing 737-800 and A320 aircraft.

Reporting to the Avionics Manager and Deputy Director of Technical Services, you will create and issue engineering orders, generate technical reports for issues (e.g., Incidents; Significant Defects), and liaise with Boeing and equipment manufacturers on resolving technical issues.

The Technical Services Avionics Engineer will work within a small, dedicated team and support the following areas:

• Providing detailed reviews of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives
• Offering troubleshooting support to Maintrol, Base Maintenance, and Line Maintenance
• Creating design modifications supporting Ryanair’s Part 21 DOA
• Supporting Reliability in identifying and resolving repetitive failures across the fleet
• Generating and editing operator documents (MEL, Tech Notices, Procedures Notices)
• Supporting aircraft lease returns related to Avionics issues

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working in an airline's Tech Services or line maintenance with strong avionics input
• An Aeronautical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree or B-2 license
• Excellent technical knowledge of primarily the A320 and B737 aircraft
• A flexible approach with project delivery as a high priority
• Excellent communication skills, both in-person and electronic
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment
• Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations with the ability to meet tight deadlines
