Are you ready to lead innovative projects that redefine safety and technology? We are seeking a dynamic Stress Lead to manage a team of three engineers. This role offers the unique opportunity to work onsite, driving cutting-edge research and technology (R&T) projects focused on safety, tank assemblies, and testing.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a small team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Oversee pioneering R&T projects related to safety, tank assemblies, and testing. Apply your knowledge of storage systems, preferably hydrogen, to tackle complex challenges. Ensure compliance with pressure vessel codes and safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious project goals. Provide hands-on leadership and foster a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications: Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams. Strong knowledge of storage systems, ideally hydrogen. Expertise in pressure vessel codes and analysis. Hands-on experience with tank assemblies and testing. Aerospace industry experience is highly desirable, but other relevant experience will be considered. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work onsite in Prestwick.
