Job summary

Boeing UK is seeking an Avionics Technician F-15 to join our Field Operations team supporting defence customers. You will work on-wing modifications, perform component removal, repair and installation according to technical data, and ensure work is completed to safety, quality and schedule standards.

The role requires an apprenticeship or formal aircraft maintenance training, experience in maintenance or modifications, and ability to travel to domestic or international sites.

Qualifications

• Have completed a recognized apprenticeship or formal training program in aircraft maintenance.
• Experience in working within an aircraft maintenance or modifications environment.
• Proven knowledge of basic Microsoft office based applications and the ability to learn in house systems.
• Ability to travel to domestic or international sites sometimes at short notice.
• Electrical and avionic handskills - MOD installation experience.
• All information provided will be checked and may be verified.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modification services to Defence customers at sites across the world.
• Perform component removal, repair and installation in accordance with approved technical data.
• Ensure work is completed to the required standards, quality and schedule.
• Accurately complete technical records reflecting work done.
• Liaise with USAF, Boeing Program Management and other functions to resolve logistical and operational challenges.
