Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited seeks an Avionic Supervisor to lead a maintenance team on UK programmes, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality aircraft work.

The role requires strong English communication, a recognized trade apprenticeship, and experience with aircraft maintenance. You will supervise technicians, review technical documentation, and contribute to safety and QA processes while coordinating with partners.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or trade training equivalent.
• Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and processes in aviation environment (Human Factors, FOD control, health & safety).
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance under Boeing’s MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD customer approval.
• Disassembly, modification or repair of aircraft systems/components and upgrading aerospace components.
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Supervise a small team of technicians, plan, sequence and control work to maintain schedule and quality.
• Mentor apprentices/trainees and contribute to continuous improvement.
