Jet2.com Limited Hangar at Leeds Bradford Airport is seeking a Tools Store Supervisor to lead the Tool Stores Team and manage day-to-day tool control to support safe aviation operations. You will supervise inspections, coordinate repairs and ensure compliance with engineering standards while collaborating with internal and external partners.

The role demands strong organisation, communication, and a proactive, flexible approach to problem solving to support the operation and safety standards

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Tool Stores function to high aviation safety standards.
• Oversee routine inspections of aircraft tooling and coordinate repairs/calibration.
• Ensure work complies with Jet2.com engineering quality standards.
• Liaise with internal and external departments/suppliers.
• Utilise the team to prioritise requirements by priority.
• Take responsibility for health and safety, welfare, training and HR matters.
• Coach and mentor colleagues.
• Ensure Tooling Storekeepers handle dangerous goods per regulations.
• Action Tooling Change Bulletins and Equipment bulletins appropriately.
• Uphold the Tooling department Mission: ‘Right Tool, Right Time, Right Place’.
