Job summary

Jet2.com Hangar at Leeds Bradford Airport is hiring a Tooling Storekeeper. You will ensure all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed and located correctly, following engineering procedures and safe aviation standards.

The role covers routine inspections, dispatch for repair, and DG tooling shipments. You’ll work 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off on a 4 on 4 off pattern after training, supporting service levels and liaising with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation and communication skills, ensuring a clean and tidy work environment.
• Experience with tooling equipment and understanding of aviation sector is advantageous.
• Knowledge of tooling/stores processes.
• Proactive, pragmatic, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and willing to support operation needs.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Full UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling, arrange repairs or calibration as needed.
• Manage Tooling DG shipping as required.
• Maintain high service levels and proactive in operations.
• Keep diligent records of all transactions.
• Liaise with internal and external departments/suppliers.
• Action Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins appropriately.
• Uphold the Tooling department’s mission: Right Tool, Right Place, Right time.
