Job summary

Jet2.com is seeking a dedicated Tooling Storekeeper to join our Hangar team at Manchester Airport. You will ensure aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled and located correctly, following Engineering procedures to uphold safety and performance.

After training, expect a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern. You will inspect tooling, coordinate repairs, maintain records, liaise with departments and suppliers, and contribute to 'Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time' across our

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with tooling equipment and understanding of aviation sector preferred.
• Knowledge of tooling/stores processes and procedures.
• Technical mindset with proactive and pragmatic approach.
• Willingness to support operational needs and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for tooling control, storage, packing, handling and locating in line with published Engineering procedures and high safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of aircraft tooling, arrange minor maintenance, and dispatch defective tooling for repair or calibration.
• Maintain accurate records of all tooling transactions and service levels.
• Liaise with internal and external departments and suppliers to ensure tooling availability.
• Action Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins appropriately.
• Uphold the 'Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time' tooling mission.
