Job summary

STS Engine Services is seeking a Stores Operative at Stansted, Essex, United Kingdom. The role supports a busy Stores department, handling parts, tooling, and deliveries to support aircraft engine maintenance.

You will join a growing P145 Engine MRO team, with responsibilities spanning inventory, accurate paperwork, and ensuring regulatory storage standards. A permanent position with shift pattern and competitive pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy is required for system usage and inventory entry.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for fast-paced stores operations.
• Full clean UK driving licence is required; forklift licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day running of Stores.
• Pick and issue parts and consumables.
• Book tooling in and out with attention to calibrated items.
• Maintain correct material handling and storage conditions.
• Control shelf-life expiry and perform stock checks.
• Process unserviceable parts into stock or scrap.
• Dispose of waste per company and environmental rules.
• Accept and offload deliveries and dispatch parts as needed.
• Assist with loading/offloading aircraft engines and stands when required.
