Job summary

BSL is seeking a Tool Store Operator to manage acceptance, storage, release and disposal of tools in a central store. You will work in a regulated Aviation environment, supporting flying operations through shift-pattern coverage.

You will ensure accurate tool identification, tracking, calibration and compliance with Part 145 processes, ITAR, EaPW, ISO and related standards while maintaining airworthiness records across systems.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent, including English & Maths.
• Clean UK driving license.
• Experience in tool control within a 145 organisation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of tooling types and access to maintenance interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Identify, record and monitor tooling/equipment with unique IDs.
• Track condition, labeling and documentation for each item.
• Keep tool kits secured; manage keys and access.
• Check deliveries; ensure accompanying certification and maintenance documentation.
• Schedule, service and calibrate tools; report issues beyond limits.
