Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the FedEx aviation security contract in the UK, ensuring safe, secure, and efficient service delivery while complying with aviation regulations and client standards.

You will lead staffing, audits, KPI/SLA monitoring, incident investigations, and staff development, engaging with FedEx management and regulatory bodies to maintain high security and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 year UK work history
• SIA License
• CTC Clearance desirable
• Operational knowledge: cargo screening, access control, airside security, aviation regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Act as primary client contact; build strong relationships with FedEx and regulators.
• Attend client meetings and performance forums.
• Produce performance reports and improvement plans; ensure expectations are met.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and security standards.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions; lead security investigations.
• Lead, develop and motivate operational teams; conduct performance reviews and welfare discussions.
