Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the daily operation of the Fed Ex aviation security contract, ensuring safe and secure service delivery. You will monitor KPIs, lead staffing, and ensure regulatory compliance across all activities.

The role requires strong leadership, aviation security knowledge, and the ability to manage complex operations with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Security management experience.
• Minimum of 5 year UK work history.
• Experience managing large security operations within aviation.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in aviation.
• SIA License.
• CTC Clearance desirable.
• Strong aviation background with regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact and maintain relationships with FedEx management and regulators.
• Attend client meetings, operational reviews, and performance forums.
• Produce and present performance reports and improvement plans.
• Maintain compliance with aviation security regulations and standards.
• Ensure personnel hold required screening competencies and clearances.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, develop, and coach operational teams; conduct reviews and welfare discussions.
