Job summary

Ascent Flight Training (Management) Ltd is seeking a Safety & Technical Assurance Manager to join our team at RAF Cranwell. You will be embedded within our site, collaborating with customers, supply chain and operations to drive a safe, compliant and high-performing operation.

You will bring substantial experience in Air Safety Management, risk assessment and continuing airworthiness, and you’ll report on safety performance and opportunities for improvement. This role is full-time and site-based.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul or Continuing Airworthiness Management.
• Experience undertaking safety risk assessments and using data to support decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent safety and technical support to on-site teams.
• Develop clear factual safety and performance reports for decision makers.
• Support continuous improvement of Safety and Quality Management Systems across sites.
• Collaborate with customers, supply chain and operations to drive a safety culture.
