Job summary

AerFin is seeking a Quality & Safety Engineer to uphold and continually improve our Quality and Safety Management Systems. You will work with the Head of Quality & Safety and several teams to support audits, risk management and regulatory compliance, ensuring we operate safely and efficiently.

The role involves driving improvements, investigating issues and contributing to management system development across a growing global aviation business. Hybrid UK positions are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Part 145 quality environment
• Knowledge of EASA/CAA Part 145 requirements and aviation management systems
• Knowledge of Part-IS requirements
• Lead Auditor trained
• Experience with Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Strong attention to detail and proactive risk identification
• Effective planning and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Audit activities across the business.
• Manage non-conformances and corrective actions to closure.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety-related reviews.
• Maintain and improve management system documentation, procedures and records.
• Support Management of Change activities and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with process owners to ensure compliance during changes.
• Promote quality and safety awareness through engagement and improvements.
• Assist with administration and development of management systems and competence programmes.
