Job summary

Rotable Repairs Ltd in Leigh on Sea, Essex is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join the fast-paced internal purchasing team. The role includes processing orders, coordinating fulfilment, and building strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience, strong numeracy, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• NVQ Level 2 and GCSE A*-C or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Methodical with high level of attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
• Strong numeracy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing orders and coordinating fulfilment internally and with suppliers and clients.
• Liaising with the sales & MRO team regarding open purchases.
• Developing loyal client relationships through personal attention.
• Maintaining purchasing reports and data accuracy.
• Assisting Purchasing Manager with inbound customer and internal requests.
• Negotiating with vendors to meet quality and price targets.
• Providing up-to-date cost-saving reports.
