Job summary

Holt Engineering in Crawley is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead aviation programme delivery. You will manage multiple hardware and software integration projects across the full delivery lifecycle, coordinating engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams to meet schedule, budget and regulatory requirements.

The role involves leading complex simulator builds and training devices, with international travel to customer sites and partner facilities as needed.

• Experience delivering complex hardware/software integration projects.
• Project-management knowledge and methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Right to work in the UK without restraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring performance against schedule, cost, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Manage projects including new simulator builds, advanced training devices and complex engineering upgrades.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and external partners.
• Define and control project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets and risk registers.
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage project budgets, financial forecasting and cost control.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while maximising opportunities.
• Maintain robust configuration, change and document-control processes.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide clear and accurate project reporting to senior leadership.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives across project delivery.
• Travel internationally to customer sites and partner facilities when required.
