Morson Talent seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex aviation training projects at the London Training Centre in Crawley, England. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, coordinating hardware and software integrations across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, while managing budgets and stakeholder expectations.

The role requires strong project management credentials and aviation industry experience, with international travel and a focus on safety-critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline.
• Recognised certification such as APM, PMI, PRINCE2 or MSP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including new simulator builds and complex engineering upgrades.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and external partners.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, budgets and risk registers.
• Monitor project performance, identify potential issues and proactively implement corrective actions.
• Manage project budgets, providing strong financial oversight, cost control and forecasting.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while recognising opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure effective configuration management and control of project changes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide clear, accurate and timely project reporting to senior leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational performance.

As a Project Manager, you will join the Programme Management team, leading the delivery of advanced aviation training solutions for international customers. Working at the heart of a dynamic, global operation, you will manage multiple concurrent projects across the full delivery lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to certification, delivery and in-service modifications.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, manufacturing, supply chain partners and international customers to ensure projects are delivered in line with schedule, budget, quality and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering complex, high-value projects involving hardware and software integration.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI or MSP.
• Experience working within aviation, aerospace, defence or other regulated industries.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strategic awareness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and customers.
