Job summary

2Excel Aviation Ltd is seeking an Operations Shift Supervisor to oversee the Operations and Crewing teams and to ensure the safe, efficient delivery of the company’s flying programme, including freight, VIP and bespoke trial aircraft.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will deputise in absence, develop and maintain SOPs, coordinate flight planning and fleet documentation, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining regulatory compliance and high standards of safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent educational attainment.
• At least three years' experience in an Operations or Crewing department.
• Solid knowledge of civilian aircrew/commercial aviation rules and regulations.
• Experience in flight planning, fleet management, crew planning and rostering systems.
• Understanding crewing dynamics and staff resource management.
• Right to Work in the UK and a valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Operations and Crewing functions and provide guidance.
• Deputise for the Operations Manager during absences.
• Contribute continuous improvement suggestions to management.
• Write and maintain SOPs, OSSIs, OCIs and CPIs.
• Coordinate flight planning, documentation and fleet activity.
• Manage dispatch of freight, VIP and trial aircraft to minimise delays.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold safety standards.
• Provide initial and recurrent training to the Operations team.
• Lead day and night operations of the flying programme.
