Job summary

Our client, Kevin Theobald Employment Agency, has a vacancy for a 4 on 4 off night role around Heathrow. The position offers up to £47k per year and requires handling end-to-end AOG shipments with a focus on aerospace exports, in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of aerospace export experience, including engines and aircraft parts, along with solid GCSEs, good IT skills, and the ability to respond quickly to customer emails. CargoWise experience would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSEs with Maths & English level 5/C preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of aerospace export operations experience (AOG, engines, aircraft parts, hazardous goods).
• Experienced with end-to-end AOG shipments and associated service requirements.
• Customs entry experience would be advantageous, though trainable for suitable candidates.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; quick, professional email responses.
• CargoWise software experience would be a plus.

Key requirements

• Experienced with completing all functions of end-to-end AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments and the associated service requirements
• Strong operational experience (exports being the main focus)
• Customs entry experience would be advantageous, although this can be taught to candidates with solid industry knowledge
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to respond quickly and professionally to customer emails and operational requirements
• Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience with significant exposure to aerospace export operations (AOG, engines, aircraft parts, hazardous goods).

Educated to a good standard of GCSEs with Maths & English level 5/C preferred.

A good standard of general computer skills - (knowledge in Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel would be advantageous.)

Must be able to perform in a fast pace / high volume work environment.
